In an interview with Weekly entertainmentTorres was quick to point out that this kiss, which the characters call a mistake, is another sign that two people are processing their grief.
She reflected, “Grief manifests itself in so many different ways. And with these two people, who are missing that great love in their lives, that kiss comes from the desire for comfort.
