Peacemaker spoilers follow.
HBO Max’s record-breaking show Peacemaker concluded its first season with the titular character, played by John Cena, showing up to save the day as the Justice League came late.
It might not have been the reunion you were hoping for, with Wonder Woman and Superman only appearing as silhouettes, but the surprise cameos were still a satisfying (and hilarious) end to the series.
With mainly Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and The Flash (Ezra Miller), Peacemaker Creator James Gunn revealed that there was actually a lot more cut footage from the scene. And it certainly made us want to see it.

Talk with Total movieGunn said: “I have tons of stuff that I haven’t used. Ezra went on – and I’m not kidding – for about 16 minutes about Aquaman having sex with fish. It was really funny.”
I mean come on. We’ve all questioned it at some point, haven’t we?
While we didn’t get to see the whole team back together, Gunn did promise that we can expect to see more cameos in season two. Thanks, James. Maybe Batman and Cyborg next time?

Gunn went on to say, “I think we’re going to see more connections in other things as we move forward with Peacemaker and other shows on HBO Max. So those [cameos] will keep coming.
“I don’t know if the Justice League is going to appear every season of Peacemaker; it could be a unique thing. We’ll see!”
Peacemaker season 1 is now streaming on HBO Max in the United States, and Sky and NOW in the UK.
